The Audi DL382 is a **7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission** designed for the MLB longitudinal engine platform. Introduced in 2016, it is a major upgrade over the older DL501, focusing on improved efficiency and refinement.
Its key technologies include a **dry sump lubrication** system to reduce friction, an on-demand electric oil pump for better start-stop performance, and a centrifugal pendulum absorber to minimize low-speed vibrations.
The DL382 comes in two versions: the standard unit handling up to **400 Nm** of torque, and the **DL382+** variant (with strengthened internals) for more powerful engines, handling up to **500 Nm**.

Applicable Models
This transmission is widely used across Audi's longitudinal-engine lineup:
**Sedans/Wagons:**
- Audi A4L, Audi A6L, Audi A7L (China-built)
- Audi A5, Audi A6, Audi A7 (imported)
**SUVs:**
